I think that's the right thing to do. Highly doubtful tourism to the US will open to us this year.

I'm booked for August but have given up. Not booked any parks etc. Problem is I can't change it a 3rd time otherwise i'd have moved as late into 2022 as possible.

We have just booked our trip for the week of october 11th, my birthday is the day after and it’s my first time going to WDW. I’m really worried looking at everyone’s replies saying 2021 isn’t a good idea - can someone help please?

We did exactly the same, no problems at all switching to May 2022..

Best approach is just to label it as a 'maybe' holiday in your head. If it doesn't happen, no worries, hopefully can reschedule. For the first time ever i'm not planning anything at all. If it happens, it's a bonus.
