Best DLP Hotel Pool

Were trying to decide between the Newport Bay and Art of Marvel hotels. Were going at the end of July so would like to think the weather will be good enough to be outside in a pool. Which of these two hotels would people reccomend for their pools? Particularly with a 2 and 4.5 year old? I can see a picture of the Newport one but it looks quite bare and small. Whilst the Marvel hotel shows an indoor one I cant really see anything outside?

Edited to add: I had the wrong impression about indoor/outdoor pools at DLP! Please ignore what I said!

Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay and Art of Marvel have outdoor parts to their pool. Newport bay definitely has the largest outdoor part and is really lovely on a sunny day.

If I was booking a hotel based on the pool it would be either SQL or NPB (but be warned the pools are freezing, even in the summer!).

The Newport Bay has a large outdoor pool (linked to the indoor one):

The outpool pool at New York is smaller:

Pool wise, I would say Newport would be best.

Oops, thanks for the correction folks. I have stayed at the Sequoia Lodge before but didn't use the pool (went in May but during a cold spell and decided against the pool) so only had the impression that it was indoors as that was the only part I saw!

Glad to know DLP does have outdoor parts to their pools!
