booking through Expedia

I’ve booked Disneyland Paris through Expedia for 5 days in May at the Newport Bay hotel on a room only basis. Does anyone know if it will be possible to upgrade to breakfast or half board when we get there please?

Thank you 😁

You can't upgrade to half board on arrival, but you can pay for breakfast on the days you want it. It is not cheap though, around €23pp.

There are cheaper breakfast options such as Starbucks, McDonalds, Earl of Sandwich and New York sandwiches in Disney Village.

As above, you can pay for breakfast on arrival at the hotel (subject to availability) but cannot do a half board plan unless you book a package.

I agree with Stubbs that the breakfast is massively overpriced so I would personally not pay that much and would instead go to one of the other places or bring cereal bars with me.

Thank you both for your quick replies.

On a separate note, I am looking at booking again for December and have found a good deal on Expedia for Sequoia Lodge. Is the Golden Forest Room worth the extra money?

Thank you x

Does your booking include the park tickets? When I looked it didn't say they were included. We've booked 4 nights in Dec through disneyland Paris. Com and we've got free half board plus and €100 gift card.

No it doesn’t include tickets as we’re buying annual passes when we go in May. Do you mind me asking how much you’ve paid and where you’re staying please?

I suppose the answer depends on how much extra money they want!

We have stayed in golden forest at SL twice and really enjoyed it, the extras are:

- Room in the main building
- Separate check in area
- One extra fastpass per person per day
- Room has kettle/coffee maker/fridge
- Separate breakfast room (which is much quieter)
- Golden Forest Lounge for drinks and afternoon snacks

If you will be spending all day out in the parks you might not benefit too much from the lounge, but if you want to pop back for a couple of hours for a rest it is really nice place to relax.
