Media Event for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

All aboard: Walt Disney World is putting the final touches to 'Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway' at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The DIBB has been invited by Disney to attend the Media event for this new attraction which opens on 4th March. The media event will take place 2-4 March and I'll be attending the event along with adding some extra days to gather updates on what is happening in and around Walt Disney World.

Guests will soon get the chance to jump on board 'Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway'. This first of its kind attraction is based on the recent award-winning Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts and will be the first ride at any Disney park that stars Mickey Mouse and his friend. Guests will board a train and be pulled into the action of a new Mickey Mouse cartoon short titled 'Perfect Picnic,' a short created just for the attraction.



Disney Imagineers have been putting the final touches on the attraction, which is taking over the former home of 'The Great Movie Ride' at Disney's Hollywood Studios' Chinese Theater.
