Thanks, DS phoned earlier to say he is bringing round a selection of trailing plants on Sunday, looking forward to getting started.

We haven’t a big garden but the borders are established and everything is coming up now - we finally got to the market garden today so I got the bedding plants in. One thing we have, which is very easy to keep, is a half barrel, lined, and we have plants and fish in it - no pump needed. It’s outside the back door and lovely to see birds having a drink from it too. All I need now is the patio to be cleaned - and the machine has broken! 🙂

The daffodils are called Hawera, and the tulips were Amazing Grace. But they are all lovely, so tempting!
Thanks for the code, I've ordered some double tulips and double narcissi - they look lovely.

What beautiful, colourful flowers. I love the fish too. We have a fishpond in our garden too but no fish sadly, despite having a grill over the pond, a heron managed to find a way to take our fish 😢

We do have lily pads and newts in it though 😀

Thankyou, I'd love a big pond, but it would take too much garden up, so we make do with the barrel

The barrel sounds a perfect compromise and the fish look very happy in it 😀

Beautiful garden! I have been planting up and old sink today, with herbs, something I have wanted to do for years. Got it second hand for £30. I need to try and get some more to fill it, at the moment it has tomato plant, strawberries, garlic, thyme, and a pineapple fragranced mint. Am historically not very good at keeping herbs alive but want to try!

That’s such a bargain, looks lovely planted too. I’ve just planted mint seeds but no sign of them popping up yet. We planted oregano a couple of years ago and that’s spread like crazy

They are looking beautiful. Most of my seedlings have started to make an appearance so I’m really pleased as in the past they’ve not even done that 😂 My biggest success so far is my radish which could be big enough to pull up and eat in a week or so
