250g dark brown soft sugar Beat together 1 egg Vanilla extract 2 tsp Almond extract/flavouring approx 3 teaspoons 2 tbs milk Mix together in separate bowl and add gradually to the butter sugar mixture Plain flour - 3 cups Half teaspoon baking soda/ and half tsp salt Gradually add to the rest of the mixture. I added a tub of glacier cherries because I had some but I think I’d go for some maraschino if I did these again. 175 for 10-12 mins. These were ok I suppose, I preferred the peanut butter choc chip ones I made yesterday.

Just bottled up 26 litres of homemade cider. Had to try some for quality control purposes.
Yep. It's excellent. 7.5%, honey coloured and dry enough to wipe the smile off most peoples faces! |
