Mobile Magic Kingdom fireworks...

Hi, it’s our last day tomorrow and the only thing we still have left to do is watch the magic kingdom fireworks. Not particularly fussed about going back into magic kingdom, is there anywhere else we will be able to see them? I have heard that the beach at the Polynesian resort is good? Do we have to be staying there? Or can we just rock up? Thinking of doing Disney springs beforehand, can we get to the Polynesian from there? And how would we get back to all star music? Thanks! We’ve had a brilliant 2 weeks and the advice/reassurance and tips have been invaluable 😊.

I think you can just turn up! I hear you can do the same at the grand Floridian- don’t know if you have to have a meal reservation though! Maybe ask one of the CMs !

No you dont have to be staying. When we stayed at okw, we bussed to mk and then took ferry. On way back bussed to ds and then okw as was a long wait for uber. It was raining so we took a tip from dibb and watched from the left hand side of trader sams tiki bar with rum cocktails and parasols sheltering us. We had dinner at capt cook qs first so arrived around seven , and there were already some people on the beach to get a bench. We also got to watch the electric water pagent whilst waiting for fireworks. Enjoyed this view of the fireworks and much more chilled than scrum on main st.

If you want the full effect of the show you do really need to be in the magic kingdom as the fireworks are only a small part of it. The main event is the projections on the castle.

The downside of this is you have to get fairly close and the hub area gets manic and unpleasant.

You can see the fireworks themselves from many places but the projections are stunning.

A good view of the fireworks is from the top of the ferry going over the Lagoon towards MK. They stop the ferry and pipe in the music. We were on the ferry by luck and it was amazing viewing!

You need to be in MK to get the full effect of them. I highly recommend going into the park to watch them... AMAZING!

Ok, will brace ourselves for the magic kingdom scrum! What time do we need to be there? And whereabouts is the ideal spot? Any tips for a quick getaway afterwards?

We've done all the night shows in the last 15 days and Happily Ever After was hands down the best. We watched it from the top of Main Street and left straight after, we we're in a Lyft at bang on 10pm. Only real delay was the queue for the tram.

Even better than fantasmic and definitely worth it. Ideally the hub area is best for your first time to get the best view of all of the projections
