Magic bands - offsite
Hi
Just wondering if you can only use magic bands if staying in a Disney resort? Or is it possible to by them when staying off-site. If possible where would I order them from? Thanks |

Yes you can use magic bands if staying off site. You in the UK can only really buy them when you get there, MCO sell them but I would go to Disney Springs as there is greater choice including in the CO-OP where you can choose from loads of custom designs. The staff will link your tickets for you or you can do it yourself through MDE. Would highly recommend it as it saves so much time of trying to find tickets.

Or if you want a cheap band they sometimes have them in the Disney Outlet (I’ve seen $1.99 standard colour and $7.99 Star Wars ones before) so worth a look.
You can also get them at MCO airport. |

We were offsite and bought them on our first day in Magic Kingdom. They very kindly just linked the bands to our MDE account. Only took a few minutes. Definitely worth it too as photos, videos, fast passes so easy.

Just check the shops in your first park (or springs if you happen to go there). Pick which one you want, and when you pay for it they'll link it to your park tickets. :-)

We stayed off site last visit and bought our magic bands on our first day in a park. They are just so easy to use and saves having to mess about with the card you get as standard...and it’s a nice keepsake too.
