Fastpass question split stay
Made fastpasses (and loved the system) before, but have a question now.
We are staying at Fort Wilderness (no tickets for 4 nights) at 21nd April, I could make fast passes from Feb 20, but have no tickets. After our stay we will go to POFQ (free dining 26nd of April and I could make my fast passes from Feb 25 with our 14 day tickets. But Feb 25 we have planned a busy day visiting family, so could I make the fast passes on the 20th Feb for 26 April (until May 4, 14 days after 21nd April) using the Fort Wilderness reservation? Everything is linked in the MDE. Any ideas? Would be great to do it like this, and avoid the stress on the Feb 25. Edited at 02:16 PM. |

Your tickets are linked to your free dining hotel and they will only allow 60 days before that. If you had regular tickets not linked to the booking then yes you would be able to book 60 days before your first hotel But only for the 5 days. Check in to check out. You would then have to wait until 60 days before your second booking anyway to continue. So even that would not help you.

Interesting question!
I'm not sure, but I suspect you won't be able to book your fastpasses until 60 days before your POFQ stay (i.e. from the 25th). Your tickets are part of a package including the POFQ stay and free dining and so only apply from the POFQ check-in date. If the tickets had been bought separately then you could have started booking fastpasses from 60 days before your Fort Wilderness stay (on the 20th) because the tickets would not be linked to the POFQ stay. However, I could be wrong.

Really? My case is the same than yours. I have a only room reservation previous our package reservation. In MDE appears that I am going to be able to book my FP 60 days previous my first reservation.
Is it not a problem to not have tickets linked to the first reservation to have the possibility of booking FP? You were able to book FP 64 days in advance? Thank you! Edited at 11:48 PM. |

Yes,
You can always make fastpasses for 14 days (at 60 days before a resort reservation) but I was able to make reservations for the first 10 days. The 21 April til 25 wasn't bookable for me, just 26 and after. It linked my tickets from the second reservation. Edited at 10:40 AM. |

Great news! I suppouse that the 10 days window open to you was because the four first days (from 21st to 25th) weren't bookable to you and thus remain 10 days FP bookable (from 26th to May 5th)
One additional question: when can you book your FP for May 6th? Today? Or do you need to wait to 60 days before May 6th? Please keep us informed! |

Hopefully today the 6th, tomorrow the 7th and so on.
Will let you know later today. Edit: couldn't book the other days (yesterday the 21nd and today 22nd) So probably have to wait until monday... Edited at 03:46 PM. |
