Virgin Holidays Fly Drive Question
This may be a silly question, but if you book a FD with VH, do you need to physically take the car when you land or can you just use the package as a flight only deal?
Has anyone else considered this? Disney332

Hi. It's done a lot, just don't collect the car.
But what some have found is they have booked the holiday, then later on cancelled the car and had a bit of a cost reduction. I wouldn't try that though as the flydrive then becomes a flight only and they will want full payment etc. Maybe worth asking though if a flydrive with no car but a coach transfer is cheaper. Worth a shot.

Last year I had a fly drive with VH. They messed up my insurance quote and in the end I found it a cheaper option to get a car hire through DFCH. All I did was told virgin I wanted the smallest car possible and also no insurance. I kept getting emails from VH to advise me that I needed the correct insurance and if I didn’t take it with the then I would have to pay at the counter in Mco which would be more expensive. My car with DFCH was through Alamo and that’s where my VH one was and I had no issues not picking the VH fly drive one up. I agree with what Tom said don’t cancel or completely otherwise it’s a flight only not a package holiday.
