Family of 4 adults staying in Grand Desert resort, apartment sleeps 8 so a bed for all and costing approx £440 for 3 nights. Inc free shuttle to strip from 8am-10pm.

We have booked the New York New York hotel for next year and I see they have a suite which sleeps 5.

We stayed last month. I’d just add to that the staff were all without exception extremely nice. On the Strip hotels it’s understandably less personal.

The walk was fine, usually a few homeless people congregating outside the gas station (didn’t bother me but I know it does some people). We used the gas station for snacks and water and it was VERY cheap compared to the Strip.

Check out the Excalibur...they often have good room rates and it’s right on the main strip (next to Luxor & NYNY
