Happily ever after dessert parties - which one!?
Hi
We have always done the tomorrowland terrace dessert party but have read that the tables are no allocated on arrival rather than being reserved based on when you book which is putting me off, don't want to have to worry about getting there early to get a decent table as we will have 2 toddlers with us so want them to have a decent view. I'm considering trying the plaza gardens one but should I do dessert before or after!? Also does anyone know if you can take the push chair into the dessert party as I imagine at least one of our little ones will fall asleep. I'm thinking plaza gardens might be better for this with allowing the double pushchair into the viewing area? Which one would you choose if you were us? We are 2 adults and 2 toddlers aged 2.5 and 15 months when we travel Thank you

With toddlers, I would do the before party. The show is already reasonably late in the summer and I can't see keeping them up an extra hour or so afterwards. Although it does help make a quieter exit as the crowds will have thinned out by then.
The after party is generally quieter as less people purchase it, but otherwise there's no difference - same food at both. |

I haven’t done any of them so can’t really have a valid opinion. However I did watch quite a recent Dinsey Food Blog where they reviewed all the desert parties which I think was helpful. Why don’t you watch that as it gave a lot of details.

They will allow you to take the pushchair in to the viewing area. The tables at the Terrace are very close together though and I don't think you'll be allowed to take the stroller in there, which is a shame because I agree that it is likely that one, or both of the children will fall asleep!
I also agree that the before party will be more suitable with little ones, if strollers were allowed on the terrace though I'd say go for the after party and enjoy some adult time whilst the kids are snoozing in the stroller. |
