Mobile What would you do?

SIL and family have decided last minute to fly to meet us for 2 days while we are in disney and join us in the parks. This is on a Friday and Saturday.
Now we had planned MK on the Friday and HS on the Saturday.
MK has EMH on the Friday which SIL won't be able to do as they are off site, so I was thinking of swapping the days over and doing HS on the Friday and MK on the Saturday, however we have a FP booked for slinky dog on the Saturday which we will lose. We do have another booked for later in the holiday though.

So ... I have never done a day at MK when EMH is on... will it be much busier than going on the Saturday when EMH isn't on? Is it worth losing a slinky dog FP to do MK on the Sat?

I'm not sure!

Saturday will be busier than the Friday, purely because it's the weekend.

What FPs do you have in MK? If you already have FPs for the Fantasyland headliners and do the left side of the park (which isn't open during EMH) at regular opening, you're at no significant disadvantage compared to a non-EMH day.

Although you could be cheeky and still use EMH, just meet your SIL in the park at 9am.

ETA: I wouldn't give up a SDD FP either way, it's the hardest one to get right now. So I would stick with the original days.

We have pirates 9-10, haunted mansion 10-11, space mountain 12-1. Should I try and change one for a fantasyland ride?

Is it the morning or evening extra magical hours?

If it is morning, just do the hour yourself and meet your sister when it opens. I would definitely try to change the pirates FP for a fantasyland one, you don’t really need a 9am FP anyway. Unfortunately I think it will be very difficult to get a Fantasyland pass at this point.

There is no way I would give up a slinkydog FP, it is a great ride and I doubt you will you get another one. (I know you have one for later, but we always like to repeat).
