Hollywood Brown Derby

I'm considering booking Hollywood Brown Derby for dinner during our next trip. I haven't seen this restaurant mentioned often and just wondered if anyone's eaten there recently and what they thought.

I went there for dinner last year - it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing (last minute ADR). Had previously eaten at the Brown Derby lounge which serves an abbreviated menu.

I have photos, so it appears that last year I had:
- Cobb salad - this is one of their main dishes and I liked it for the cheese and the variety, but wow this was filling!
- Some sort of seafood involving lobster and mussels and maybe crayfish? Can't remember exactly. But recall this being very yummy.
- Dessert trio - can't remember what I thought about this.
(Sorry these aren't the best photos ever!)

Overall my general impression is that it was a very good meal and I would go back...

(Photos removed due to comments about Cobb salad...)

OMG that first plate looks vile! I had this booked for my recent trip, very glad I changed it after that photo.

We really enjoyed our food there at Christmas. Here’s a link to my review.

The Cobb salad isn't very photogenic but it's a fantastic dish.

It probably is. However if that was put in front of me I would be sick

The Cobb salad at Brown Derby is marvellous, I always choose it as my main. I assume the photo is pre them mixing it at the table, although I don’t remember that much dressing. Some comments seem a little rude to the OP?

I want to go now!

We went last year during July - mainly because we didn’t feel like there were many other options for a nice lunch. Having said that, we were really glad we decided to get a last minute reservation, we both enjoyed our meals and it was a nice, calm atmosphere. I think my partner had some form of steak (he can’t remember!) and I had the burger, both were good. Heard good things about the attached lounge too, we want to try it out on our next trip!
