MDE with 2 families - confused.
I am travelling as part of a group of two families with a room each at AKL in May. Both are on same VH booking and both rooms etc showing correctly on my MDE having linked the two room references. So far so good for my family, but
Is it better for the second family to have their own MDE account, or do I just give them my log in details? If they have their own should they link both rooms or just their own? I am finding it a bit confusing so any pointers from those with experience of these things would be appreciated. Particularly thinking around room charging when there. First post so hope it’s in the right place. |

each person can have their account and you can link to them. if you check out MDE you will see an option to send them an invite.
Best for people to have their own so they can adjust fP's if they want. |

Thanks. Makes sense re FPs. So each individual party member can have an account, not per room?

They can, but I don’t have accounts for all our party members in the same room, there’s no need as we all have the same plans so it’s just unnecessary. If we were travelling with another family I’d get them to set up their own account for their room.

That’s what I was thinking and makes more sense for us as we will be doing everything together. Do you link both rooms to the second family MDE account or just theirs?
As an aside does the app get any better when you’re there - it’s pretty rubbish to use at the moment! |
