Boardwalk booked for Christmas, now a nervous wait for NY

Just booked the last of our 10 night stay at Boardwalk over Christmas - such a relief to get it booked as was worried with Star Wars and being Christmas etc that it would be tricky!

We are hopefully spending the last 4 nights at BLT for NY and I need a theme park view room - am now very nervous about getting that booked. We are only doing 4 nights and I don’t agree with walking a reservation anyway so I have a whole week to wait till I can book it and am so worried everyone else will have walked their reservations and booked it all up by then! I hate this nervous wait!

I've been tracking CCV for Xmas... unsurprisingly the studios have been walked for the last few days.

Good luck!

I honestly wish they’d attempt to put a stop to people walking reservations, it’s so annoying!

I was very surprised how available Boardwalk was, even the standard view which normally gets snapped up. Given Star Wars opening and Christmas I really thought I’d have more of a fight on my hands! I’d budgeted for a Boardwalk view as I figured standard wouldn’t be available whereas I could have actually booked standard and saved quite a few points but I decided to just book boardwalk view in the end as it is my favourite, love sitting on my balcony watching the hustle and bustle!
