There's lots of other language in there that is not so good, such as not even a guarantee of any sort of window to book ahead of others. resale paying for rights to perks etc

Looks like I'm not allowed to post a link, but it's easy to find on the other board on a large thread.
Disney is future proofing DVC it seems (for themselves mostly)

They seem to use this 'approved reseller' phrase a lot in the POS. Wonder if there will be more than one.

They will all be like this going forward. Next is 'Refections' or 'Rehab DVC' as some jokingly call it.
They did have approved resellers before (Fidelity). I'm wondering though if they are lining up a deal with a resale company, or maybe even thinking of buying one? Edited at 10:41 AM. |

Aside from the additional changes to Riviera resale (ability to force a different booking window and take away RCI) from what I can gather, it looks like if anyone buys a contract from someone who owns the original 14, and the person they are buying it from bought it pre 19/1, then the buyer of that can use Riviera. However, if they sell it on, or buy from someone who
bought it after 19/1, then they can't use Riviera onwards. If correct they added a bonus to us who already own pre 19/1, as our contracts on resale are better for a buyer.

Yes. Apparently though DVD are claiming it doesn't mean your buyer could use Riviera', even though it says this!
