We bought a Samsung S8+ and a Gear 3 frontier 2 year ago from Best Buy and the S8+ was on offer, it worked out with tax £200 cheaper than at home, the watch was the same price in dollars as pounds so worked out a lot cheaper. Ask for the international version(phone) I have had no problems what so ever with both and I am looking to buy the new Galaxy this year when we go over in August

Prices at the moment

Best buy S9 $739+ tax($100 off offer) £578.12 @1.28
Currys S9 £729

Mike

I just bought a note 9 in the UK with a trade in s7 edge for £399. Why would you buy in the USA for that price with no warranty

That's not 100% correct - you will have a warranty but it will be a US warranty and will not be usable in the UK.

If there was any issue then you would have to arrange to ship it to/from the USA which might negate any savings.

Couid it not be sent to a UK branch? Do you know why the warranty doesn't transfer?

Samsung do not offer an international warranty so if your phone is bought in the UK then you can't get it fixed in the US either.

This is why you need to be wary of buying a much cheaper phone from abroad that's a Samsung.
