30 minutes is the limit for any ride for me.
Life is too short.
I may divorce my husband of 1 year so I don't have to line up for Star Wars Land when it opens.

It's such a slow loading and low turnover ride, long queues were inevitable unless it was awful. Even then, probably still have decent queues - wait 2+ hours for Navi, anyone?

Whitequeen, I like your thinking. If I was still with my SW-mad ex, it may have been grounds for divorce. Or a bargaining chip to get my bucket list Disney trip. Hmmm...

I would rather stay home and clean the toilet than wait 4 hours for any ride.

30 minutes is my limit, 40 at a push if we're desperate to go on it

It's beyond a joke tbh, when are Disney going to sort this out ?

A 4.5hr wait on an allegedly quiet day at a quiet time of the year is ridiculous and it's not the first time in the past few days/weeks that the wait has been 4-5hrs.

We're going in late May and are staying offsite so we've got no chance of getting a FP for FOP in the 30 day window, so our only hope is to get there ridiculously early and hope to get near the front of the queue for rope drop. And then join another queue for an hour or so! Getting up at 5:30am on a holiday is not my idea of fun & I can't imagine the family entertaining the idea either.

I'm dreading the look on my son's face when I'll more than likely have to tell him that FOP is out of bounds.

Someone please tell me I'm over-reacting and there's still a glimmer of hope !

It's actually a busy week as it was a holiday weekend just gone which always boosts the crowds. Although the days of February being a ghost town are long gone, it's pretty much moderate crowds most of the year now. The waits do seem abnormally high though, I don't think they're running at full capacity. So either part of the ride is down, or intentionally closed due to reduced staffing, which I believe is a known issue affecting wait times right across the property.

If you can't get a FP, make jet lag work in your favour and schedule your AK morning in the first couple of days you're out there. Then getting there for rope drop isn't as painful as when you're fully in Florida mode a week later.

Madness. 30 max for me too, might queue 40 for FOP though.
