We leave for home May 31st. I would have liked to have tried it but I think it's better we miss it as it would have been heaving. An excuse to go again

As for FOLP i seem to remember that they did not do FOLP on the new harry potter rides for a few months after opening.
Sorry but what’s soft opening, is it like practice before the official opening date ?

We are at the HRH on the 13th and visiting Universal. Do you think they will do anything special for the opening?

I think it was a few years before express line for the other Harry Potter lines. I can but hope.

Yup basically. It’s a preview and helps them to check it works properly etc. Sometimes it’s announced but mostly it’ll randomly open and if you’re in the area then great. If you aren’t in the park but in Orlando at the time then it’ll be all over social media in about 5 seconds so check there regularly!

Soft opening is as you say kind of like a practice opening. Sometimes if you’re lucky enough they open up an attraction for a few hours at a time a few days to a week before the official opening.

FJ took a while but EfG got one a lot quicker. I’m not hopeful they’ll be one straight away as they didn’t add an Express Pass to Kong until a few months after opening.

Transformers I think they added express pretty quickly so fingers crossed it’s the same for this.
