Will October prices come down?

I know its a how long is a piece of string question, but I've just had a quote from BA for the following:

3 ad, 2 ch, 12-26 Oct
Glasgow-Gatwick-Orlando-Gatwick-Glasgow
Ford Edge or similar 18-26 October
£4040

2 ad, 12 Oct-1 Nov
Glasgow-Gatwick-Orlando
Tampa-Gatwick-Glasgow
Ford Edge or similar 18 Oct-1 Nov
£2372

I feel these prices are still quite high but checking or airlines they seem to be more with no car included. I've been checking prices since release and they've not really come down that much. Even during the recent BA sale they didn't drop as much as I'd hoped, although I do now wish it taken them as they were slightly cheaper.

I'm assuming the longer I wait the worse it is going to get or is there any hope that I could get them a bit cheaper?

No idea what is going on with them this year. Prices are crazy. We booked a month or so ago, and they’ve just kept rising. We paid a smidge under £2600 for 2 adults, 1 child PE with connecting flights included, and it’s now £4400. Absolutely mad. I wonder how much of an impact the threat of no deal brexit is having ... not even sure if that’s the reason but hopefully some certainty will help.

If it was me, and I found a price I could stomach, I think I’d just do it. It’s such a gamble just now, and no way of knowing what the future holds.
