Every meal we had while on the delux DDP was simply starter / main and a drink (soft or alcoholic).

We never got double drinks etc... and if you want a drink in a special cup you pay extra.

We never had any restricted choice on any menu - full menu available.

Nowhere goes out of the way to point this out. If it wasn't for forums etc I don't think I would of noticed.

This is generally an expensive trip, I don’t get why I should worry so much about the costs of tips so specifically. I honestly didn’t give it one seconds thought when I upgraded to the deluxe plan. My hotel bill was many many multiples of my tip bill!
What a stupid comment...

Some people save for many many years to be able to afford a trip like this. To find out after booking everything that you are going to have to find hundreds of extra dollars for tips is obviously going to be a shock and quite possibly a problem for people from this country who don't automatically factor in such things.

I at first presumed DDP included tips - luckily I am well off and finding an extra £1000 in tips wasn't beyond my means. You are totally self centred if you can't appreciate how this could be a problem for others.
