Have you checked the dibb busy day guide for your planned dates?

There is nowhere I would class as a no go, just because it is a Saturday. If you plan the day properly then everything should be ok

We did mk three times on Saturdays this August, wouldn't choose that again it was packed (it was the way the holiday fell as our first and last days and my birthday all were Saturdays).

We usually do a park on a Saturday morning (when we are there July/August) and it's not too bad, I usually go for a park that's most recommended in the busy day guide. Traditionally Saturday can be a change over day for a lot of people so we don't find it get's too busy until the afternoon. If anywhere I would avoid the malls and outlets at the weekend.

the busy day guide worked for us. I remember reading that the water parks were not recommended at the weekends. Think they are quite popular with the locals then. Second, avoiding the shopping malls.

We did mk yesterday. Made sure we were there for rope drop at 7:45

Did
Meet mickey on Main Street
Pirates twice
Splash mountain twice
Peter Pan
Jungle cruise
Philharmagic twice
Took train from splash mountain to fantasy land
Barnstormer
Little mermaid
Speedway

This was all before our 1.25 lunch at bog. We left the park at 3 for rest st villa before returning to do pirate and pals cruise at 8.30 for wishes

Yes it was very busy in mk but we were prepared for it with use of fast pass and early morning we didn't wait more than 10 mins for anything (unless you count the q for DH coffee from Starbucks)
