We don’t have a cupboard under the stairs, it’s open but our sofa is in front of it.

All our Disney traditions are on shelves behind there, safely away from the dog! They can be seen though . Then there’s. A small bookshelf (with more traditions) and board games, plus a bean bag chair haha.

We have a small under stairs cupboard which has coats, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, washing basket and about a million bags for life! No idea how we fit so much in there!

A “stepped” Unit with plastic storage boxes, and a six drawer shoe cabinet.

Well we have Dorothy the ghost, she's lived under our stairs for year's.
When we moved in here 3 years ago she introduced herself by moving stuff and trying to keep us awake.
She's fairly quiet now though since we had a little chat and she now accepts us and us her 😉👍
This is a true story, for once I'm not joking 😉

Our under stairs is at that back of the garage so it's useful storage for excess cleaning products, light bulbs, part-filled tins of paint, extra toilet rolls and empty vases.

What is under your stairs?

Ours has shelves with board games, massive craft box for youngest son, odd diy stuff and my husband’s golf clubs!
So it is packed out to the brim!

In fact the golf clubs are a pain and take up too much room but apparently they are too precious to be kept in the shed 🤔

Ah, thank you! 😁

We had always intended to put a toilet under the stairs, it was just when funds allowed so when we renovated the kitchen we had pipes run through the wall, everything else was done with a toilet in mind. Prior to the transformation we had my work stuff - I'm a teacher so it was folders, laptop and bags.

We had coats hung up on the door but we had a tall cupboard built at the bottom of the stairs to house these.

We also had the ironing board which I've managed to squeeze in a kitchen cupboard with my hoover, although DH can't manage to get them back in!

We also had a plastic box of cushions for outdoors, we bought an outdoor store for that to go in.

We had our mop and bucket which is now in the garage and I have a flash speed mop for quick mop throughs and I can get the proper mop and bucket for a thorough clean. We had an airer which has again gone into the garage. We had a handheld hoover and charging port too, which I put in a kitchen cupboard when I reorganised them.

Oh, and we just had loads of junk! 🙈 The picture below is mid clear out ready for the transformation!
