Has anyone been watching this?
We were lucky enough to stay on her for one night last year...it was a soft opening...cost us £50 ...bargain!..but the prices now!
But well worth it for all that history and ambience.
We were sitting in the bar and thinking who had sat in there before us...and all those brave men going to the Falklands.
They have done a fabulous job restoring it..and we only seen half of it.
Well worth a visit if you are ever in Dubai ...when we are all back to normal!.

We have also been watching this series. Would love to go around on the tour and would also like see the Queen Mary in California.

We were getting married when the Falkland War was on and remember the QE2 going there with all the troops on board.

I’ve really enjoyed watching it...so much history...how lucky for you to have been on her...at least she is being restored, rather than go for scrap!

We were due to stay for a night on a family holiday with my dad in April. He and my mum sailed on her a few times. Unfortunately it was all cancelled 😔

Was going to book QE2 for are Dubai holiday in March but booked a Hotel instead ,but it ended being cancelled anyway.

It’s interesting watching but the guy that does the tours is really getting on my wick, but then when I’ve watched other programmes about cruise ships the entertainment guys got on my wickmust be a trait in a ships entertainer to be camp and annoying. Having been on a couple of cruises they got on my wick in real life too. Maybe it’s me

We watched it as we stayed on the Queen Mary a couple of years ago.
And the tour guy got on my wick too, couldn't put up with him for very long

The only time that has happened to me was doing a tour of the main bank in NY Manhatten..where all the gold bars are kept.
The man kept talking to everyone like kids ...we all went back to the meet up place and asked could we be let out.

Invited to Captains table for dinner after the end of the Falklands War along with the rest of the squadron would love to see her now in her full glory but was wondering is there anything on in the ship re the Falklands ?
