iPhone/iPad and outlook help

Hope someone can help

I share an Apple ID with my husband and son, we each have an iPhone and iPad

As we didn’t go ‘home’ this year 😢 we treated ourselves to the new iPhones - my upgrade went fine other half’s has gone wrong!

He has not only his outlook contacts but mine and our sons too! But if we go on the pc it’s fine - we have reinstalled the app and do not use the iCloud - any ideas please? Just to add the ‘contacts’ have not been added as contacts but when you type for example ‘m’ he gets his contacts, his suggested contacts plus my contacts and suggested contacts - but I don’t get his!

Apple and Microsoft both say to speak to each other and don’t seem to be able to help - help me Dibbers your our only hope!

You each need your own appleid. They can be linked as a family using family sharing but shared Appleids will cause confusion.

Just what Bev said you each need your own ID and use family sharing

Thanks both for your replies, but we have shared Apple ID for years and never had this problem ...

But have you ever tried to link your account to a new device before? I also think you need to set up your own appleids, otherwise I can't see how it could go right.
