I don’t mean to frighten you

But it needs to end and to do that the school and maybe even the police need to be informed .

The girl I referred too ended up self harming , suicidal and in a mental health unit ( I’m not suggesting your daughter will because she was a extreme
Case ) all because of verbal bullying that was never stopped .

Shes amazing. Shes one in a million but very soft hearted. Not a bad thing but some confidence wouldnt go a miss. Shes starting with a kickboxing and self defence academy on Saturday which will also help her fitness and strength for dance. I dont want her to be a scrapper but scared of your own shadow isnt ideal either. I've been texting her telling her how proud I am.

I really really appreciate you posting. Sometimes it's hard to see the bigger picture when you just want to protect your own and get through the moment. But that doesnt help further down the line.

Thank you all.so much. Shes must text saying one girl approached and said I'm not gonna hit you, I never was. I'm just not happy at the mo. Dd replied i appreciate you telling me, i didnt do what you think and i cant control if you believe me or not but I know it's the truth.

She said shes shaking inside but proud of herself.

I would give the school a ring and just ask them to check she’s ok as she’s been a bit out of sorts, and if she’s pulled out of class the others might 💩 themselves, bless her and you I’d be the same,

That’s a fantastic response - she’s every reason to be proud of herself .Sounds like they are starting to treat her with some respect .

I think you and her did exactly the right thing !

You would have lost her trust if you had called school and I’m not sure they would make this current situation any better.

Where as her going in and standing up for Herself will make her feel a million dollars!

You will both have a lovely proud evening tonight.

She is so brave for facing up the situation well done both of you !

You also don’t know how much of it was just the school kids Chinese whispers !

And Dad going to school at break just to be around, epic move and you sound like fab parents who’s kids know they can trust you.

Hes so funny. Hes all like (to me) you need to calm down and stop getting so worked up. Then I asked where he was. Eehhhh at the school obviously, its break time LOL.

She will be done school in 10 mins and home soon. Shes planning a walk to McDonalds with 2 buddies after school tomorrow. Think we will treat them all.

I've just caught up on this thread, I'm so proud at how brave your DD has been today, what an awful situation to have to be in. I can't say I would of been able to get through that at that age.

From someone who did karate from the age of 13 - 16 I found it really worthwhile.
