Booked last minute hol to join family next weekend.

Never been before and not normally somewhere I would chose.

Any feedback/tips would be appreciated

Haven't been to the resort although it looked like a lovely beach. I believe a lot of Irish holidaymakers go to this resort.

My family has a time share in Santa Ponsa so fairly familiar with it.

Lots of Irish and Scots so some of the bars and restaurants are themed for them.
Fave restaurants are the ones to the left of the beach, set higher up on the rocks overlooking the sea. Meson del Mar is one of them but there are others. One has a sound proof air conditioned kids play area with supervision if that's useful.
Day trips I suggest Andraitx both the port and the town with its market. Love Palma and the neigbouring town to SP of Paguera which has a nice beach and is popular with Germans so again different restaurants and bars.

Hope you have a good holiday, we are going next year for a cheaper holiday after Florida this year. Gillian.

Try a day trip to the port of soller , just catch a service bus to Palma don't get off the bus till you reach the bus station which is underground walk through to the train station part go up the escalators (past a icecream stall selling very yummy flavours for just €1 each ) about 50 yards away is the station where you catch the Wooden train to soller past all the orange & lemon groves and olive trees it's a lovely day out
