BA sale?
Hi all,
I'm looking for flights 18th July - 8th August (or thereabouts) next year. Does anyone know when the BA sale starts? Thanks

I have absolutely no idea, past history says it should be around now but...
Can BA cope with any increased activity on their phone lines and website right now? My guess, and that's what it is says let the strike issues settle a bit. Only a guess though, |

Over the past few years I have obtained a better deal by holding off until the Christmas BA sale, usually have a look on Boxing Day or thereabouts.

Are their sales usually flight only or do they also do sales on BA holidays?

I am waiting for there to be a sale in the next few weeks after the bad press for strikes to die down. It would be in their interest to make an effort to sell at a good price before everyone goes to Virgin. I am avoiding Thomas Cook and Norwegian anyway so it limits our options if no good prices with BA sale...

We are also leaning towards BA, despite the strikes. Travelled with them to Venice on the day they had a big computer problem and from our point of view they dealt with it so well and we had a really positive experience. Can I ask what your reasons for avoiding Norwegian and Thomas Cook are?

I think a sale is probably due shortly as prices have jumped up quite a bit. I was looking at May flights at the weekend and looking today they have jumped £150 - which seems the norm just before a sale.
