Universal Hotel
Hi All
After some advice. I have read many reports now and people mentioning that they have stayed one night at HRH. If you are one of these people, please could you let me know who you booked this with. I have found that unless I book a three night break, I cannot find availability. I am thinking that maybe they do not wish you to stay for just one night now. Thanks all in advance. |

For a one night stay we also book direct with Universal but you can only book about 6 months in advance. This time we are staying for two nights which was booked through BA when a Dibber posted about a possible glitch rate. There seems to be more choice of where to book when you are staying for longer as few companies offer one night only.

Thanks. Makes sense now I guess. Good to know I can book almost last minute if I decide on a one night stay, a gamble I am willing to take.
I guess it makes sense now that the hotels would probably not prefer to offer one night stays so far in advance. As always, thank you again. |

We booked a one night stay through the Universal website back in January. That was almost 11 months in advance. You could try phoning if you have no luck with website. Good luck, hope you get sorted

They will release 2013 dates in August/September most likely, that's when we booked for this year- and I was checking every day. I'm waiting on them too!

If you book direct, you can cancel for free up to 5 days before you check-in.
Dates for next year will be available in Aug/Sep for most of next year. The AAA rates will not likely be available that far out, but you can phone and have the lower rate applied later. If you are going at a busy time, it might be better to book rather than wait for last minute. rooms might not be available or just the more expensive rooms may be left. Given it's free cancellation then it's worth considering. |
