Avanti Hotel IDrive

Hi,

We have been to orlando on numerous occasions and stayed in the Extended Stay and Homewood suites on IDrive (both beside Bahama Breeze).

Ws looking at the Avanti Hotel as its coming up alot on different website..

Has anyone stayed here and would they recommend.

This time around we'll have a new addition to the family our daughter, who will be just under 2 when going.

Thanks

I've heard a lot of good things about The Avanti but I have to say, my experience wasn't that good. The rooms were basic but clean although we have had better rooms in similar priced hotels. I, personally, didn't like the door opening on to an outside walkway (this is probably a personal preference thing but it wasn't for me). We came down the outside stairs one day to find broken beer bottles on the stairs and, what I assume was beer, spilled all over the steps. We reported it but it wasn't cleaned up for about 3 days. Our room was toward the back of the resort so quite close to I4 and it was really noisy. I think if you could request a room nearer IDrive, it would be ok though. We had a lot of Brazilians staying in the adjacent rooms (several, either side) and they ran up and down the outside walkway shouting to each other well into the early hours. All in all, it wasn't a pleasant stay for us and we wouldn't go back there. That said, there were some things that were out of the control of the resort management (like the noisy neighbours). The location was good though and we liked being able to nip over to Friendly's for an ice cream!

My friend stayed there last year, and i noticed reviews for it were good,so i asked her ,as when i stay on i drive i stay at HOMEWOOD SUITES,but this time i thought as its a solo trip i would probadly be better with a hotel nearer the road, instead of that dark walk alone.she said she wouldnt recommend it,so i booked Homewood.

If you want it to, it has a nice cafe.

Hello. yes I stayed there last week and yes there is noise from the I4 but it did not keep us awake. I also put in my report that you need to turn the dehumidifier off at night. Bathrooms need updating but you only wash in there. I would definitely stay again and it is on my shortlist for next Easter. Great location and loved the pool area, very comfy beds (I understand they recently replaced all the beds). Good sized fridge and plenty of space.

Location: West Yorkshire
Yes it was originally called The best western hotel
Then it changed to Econo innes and suites

We stayed there twice when it was the best western
The location is really good lovely clean safe area we was in the block near to the reception area first time around which was brilll but the second time we were nearer to the busy I4 it was a bit loud at night
