Hi there! I am a long time lurker. I have found this site so valuable in planning our holidays and love checking in to see updates. I’m finally taking the next step and going to try to start posting.
A bit about us... we are a family of 5 and we absolutely love going to Florida. We first went in 2008 and just fell in love with it. We have been lucky enough to go 6 times. We usually stay on-site at Disney. POR is our absolute favourite. We did have a trip planned for August this year but Covid put a stop to that.
Like everyone else our life has changed so much in the last few months, I just want some normality back, whatever that may be.
Good news is that we have a trip planned for next year now. Disney changed our booking to August 2021 so we are going back to POR staying in a preferred room. Obviously this was changed before Disney closed POR, however I have everything crossed it will be open by then. If not I’m sure we will get moved to somewhere just as fabulous. Also hoping for a miracle on the dining plan but less hopeful of that one.
Trying not to dwell on what we have missed out on this past few months and focus on planning new things for the future, hence me finally introducing ourselves.
