Ch 5 - Anne Boleyn
dailymail/tvshowbi...l-5-drama.html
As a black actress is cast to play Anne Boleyn in a Ch 5 programme that they claim will challenge convention... one has ask is this the case or merely “box ticking”? Imagine if they cast a white actor to play Mandela ? Would that also be a case of challenging convention? How can history be so easily re-written? Though to be honest I’d expect something like this from the BBC! Thoughts? |

Im struggling to get my head round it to be honest. Its factually and historically incorrect but that clearly cant be pointed out. Very strange.

I remember there was similar uproar when Matt Damon, a white actor with no antenna played the Martian instead of a green actor with antenna.
