Most years I do, but not this year. Our online deliveries aren’t getting delivered, been waiting over 2 weeks for a Superdrug order and a 24 hr Boohoo delivery ordered on Wednesday still hasn’t arrived, so I’m not risking ordering anything else online. I’m also not going out to the shops this week as we are staying in to try to minimise any risk of catching the virus so I’m not likely to get any more gifts.

I do feel that I haven’t got enough for DS and his fiancée or DH though, and I would probably end up buying more for DD too if it were any other year

Enjoy her being there , I coped very well when our DD moved out but DS left this October and it’s so hard , he is my best buddy , so we will enjoy DD for as long as she is here

You mean you will get it for her after Christmas so your son doesn’t notice I do this quite often Sandra and remind them not to tell Dad too

We are in strange times and I’m sure as with most families they will understand that it’s not Christmas as we know , online companies are probably working harder than they normally would at this time of they year .

I get paranoid when the presents get put out and one pile looks bigger than the other🥺. I even count the ones under the tree to make sure they have the same amount to amount. Both of my daughter's are in their 20s🥺

Oh I will. I’m so lucky, she is my best friend, we have a girly holiday each year and a couple of weekend trips. I get the best of all worlds as anything DH doesn’t want to do I rope DD in 😊 I have to admit though I’m already excited for grandchildren, i think she’ll make me wait a while yet though!

Ah that’s so similar to me , DD and I have had a few trips away just the two of us , Paris was definitely our favourite. We had hoped to do Edinburgh Christmas market this year , maybe next year 🙏🏻
We are lucky to have 3 grandchildren , our eldest daughters . It’s great , especially at Christmas , although we have missed lots this year sadly

I know my children will understand and thankfully, as they are adults, a few less presents won’t spoil Christmas for us. I think we will appreciate spending the time together as we are able to within the rules this year.

I agree that online companies must be stretched this year. The companies have dispatched the orders, its Hermes that are failing to deliver. Hermes are pretty hopeless in our area at any time of year, so there was no chance of them coping with such an increase of parcels this Christmas 😔
