Boxing Day Shopping

Our local Tesco had a queue waiting for the store to open at 9am. on Boxing Day. Did any fellow Dibbers go shoping on Boxing Day?

Nope. I can't see why anyone would on a normal boxing day, never mind this year. I believe our Asda stayed closed.

Were you shopping or just passing?

Absolutely stupid!

What on earth can people be short of?

Didn’t go shopping but had to work from 5am as my store was open in retail. Huge queue was waiting outside when I arrived too. Was very glad to get home.

Not Boxing Day but we did pop to DFS today to try out some new sofas. We went straight into DFS but saw the queues for some other shops on the retail park and Pets at Home and Currys were really long.

I didn’t leave the house yesterday , the sales don’t appeal to me in “normal” times let alone in middle of a pandemic. There are photos online of our local shopping mall and the queues were scary just to get in.
I work in retail and have worked all day today, we were crazy busy , we had people outside before store opened. It wasn’t a good shift today
