Virgin Reward Flights

We got 4 UC reward flights out on VS15 from LGW to MCO last Wednesday (we’re here now) for myself, my wife, my 18 year old daughter and my 15 year old son.
My eldest daughter (26) and her partner got 2 UC reward flights on VS49, taking off 30 minutes before us, so we effectively got 6 of us on Upper Class reward flights from LGW to MCO. We travelled to the airport together and sat in the lounge together, before they boarded; they met us again in MCO just after clearing customs.

For the way back, the four of us who came out in VS15 originally could only get PE reward flights back on next Wednesdays flight (Eldest Daughter and partner are staying out an extra week and got UC reward flights immediately); I managed to upgrade the four of us piecemeal as more reward seats became available (using reward finder with an alert).
For the dates you’ve given, if you’ve got a little flexibility, I reckon your chances are reasonable. If I can get four-plus-two during the summer holiday period, you’ve got to have a shot, surely.
