Thomas cook gift card

Both a question and a heads up

Last time I stayed on site with Disney 2 years ago Thomas Cook sent the gift card to the hotel which I picked up at reception when I checked in.

I’ve just had my documentation form tc and they are advising that you need to pick it up at the airport!

Does anyone know if this correct? I don’t really ant to stand in a long line at the dest to be told, hey we sent it to your hotel.

I'm travelling with TC next May.

We also picked up our gift card at the resort, and when I booked this holiday they said the same thing.
I'll have to double check this information now.
Always best to check before you travel.

I'm sure they changed this process earlier this year but will still get the card delivered to your resort under special circumstances..

TC will be able to confirm this.
