UA carry on allowance DUB-ORD-MCO

Hi all

wondering can anyone help, I cannot confirm with our travel agent what the carry on luggage allowance is for UA economy international from Dublin - ORD - MCO. It looks at tho a small carry on case is allowed as well as a personal item (handbag/laptop bag). However when I check on the airlines site it says if flight is basic economy then its only 1 personal item. It doesn't mention if this is for domestic or international travel so I'm confused. All google searches aren't giving me concrete info either

We are travelling very light anyway with carry on only but I don't want to arrive at airport to behold we have to pay and also check in our bags?

Any suggestions/ info would be appreciated.

United economy includes a suitcase in the hold and seat choice. If u got a choice of seats, then u will be able to bring hold luggage.

Thanks for the reply, looking at out ticket class we have to pay for hold luggage but we are allowed carry on in the '1 piece plan' checked into it further and I think I've answered my own question as in the fact that we cross the Atlantic we can take a carry on each and a personal item.
We cannot choose our seats yet.
