Thanks for your replies. Are all of the cabanas in the shade or if you want some sun are you able to lie in the sun a bit?

The area was lovely and my youngest really took to snorkelling so we spent quite a lot of the day there or close by. My eldest enjoyed chilling in the Cabana and watching us from there when he needed some shade. We did the dolphin swim so the Elite package didn't seem too expensive when we took the cost of the photo package into account.
Did you have a hammock in your cabana? It sounds lovely!

Been twice. Had a Cabana twice. One near the lazy river and one by the sting ray pool. Fantastic.
If you are doing a dolphin swim do a celebration package as you get your photos free too (did 2015). You WILL want those photos. We did swim, cabana and photos separately and it would have been cheaper to do the package.
We don’t normally do the photos so this tells you how good they are.
Did separately second time too, but wasn’t doing dolphin swim, but we did do the Sea venture, it no photos with that. Sea Venture was good too.

If we went again, and we would go again, even without doing a swim or Sea Venture, we would definitely have a Cabana again. It’s just so special.

We got a day bed, but very rarely used it. We were always in the water or the restaurant, thought it was a waste of money

We got a Cabana once.. Big waste of cash, as it only got used by me ! - I would recommend the reserved seating. Its a bit special but loads cheaper..

It would be totally wasted on me
I'm exactly the same. Plus if I'm paying all that money for a day at DC I don't want to waste it sunbathing when I could be doing that by the hotel pool.
