Just returned on Saturday.

Had an amazing 9 days, staying at the point hotel and suites, thanks to the dibb I got some useful hints tips. 👍
Just a few things...

United airlines from Dublin was great, very good economy seats, great range of TV and movies, and staff continuously handed out drinks.

The hotel was great, very clean, and about 15 minutes walk to idrive.

Madame tussauds is a complete waste of money, takes about 20 minutes to walk round it (but my son really wanted to go).

Lyft/uber is brilliant, I'd never hire a car over there again.

Gatorland was a great, fun break from the theme parks. Feeding the gators was soooooo cool, staff are very funny.

The refill cups at universal are great, especially as I never paid for refills on the next 3 days. Just go to the smaller kiosks, they rarely check them.

SeaWorld all day dining is well worth it, but the added wine&beer part is useless as it can only be used for draught beer, and there's only a couple of places that served draught beer.

Staff at universal were all great and very very helpful.

We had a VIP pass on final full day, which basically got us to the front of all rides, so u can imagine how annoyed we were when firstly the train wasn't running from universal to IOA, then hagrids wasn't running!

sapphire falls hotel is stunning, we used Tesco vouchers for 1 night there, I asked if they had any upgrades Available (was willing to pay up to $200), but we got upgraded to a kids suite for free! To say we were well chuffed is an understatement, so we stayed for an extra night.

And finally, fast and furious ride, like seriously, what is the point! ?

Thanks again for all hints and tips!

Glad you had a good time, shame about Hagrids and Hogwarts express at Universal although I don't think you can use VIP pass on Hagrids anyway at the moment. Did you manage to get on?

I totally agree with you re Fast and Furious!

A nice report. I'm glad you liked Gatorland my daughter and I were thinking of returning there for the first time in twenty five years in May, I'm going to pencil it in as a definate now. The feeding was my favourite part, too ...

Hahahah. Fast and Furious, what's the point?

Couldn't agree more, what a waste of that massive show building. Just so bad!

The kids, 8 and 11 had a blast, dunno about health and safety tho, letting us sit in front of 100 hungry gators! 😂😂
The new swamp buggy ride was great fun too. Unfortunately the zip line was booked up when we were there.

It said 10 minute waiting time, but once we got in there was obviously some problems, ended up waiting near 40 minutes. At least Kong has some atmosphere and fun, f&f is just awful. 😂😂

When Hogwarts Express isn't on, it's a hell of a walk to get over to IOA. At least we had done it a previous day, but never got on hagrids.

Lol! It's a great photo. I'm intrigued by the swamp buggy ride, too. Maybe another to add to the list ... : - )
