We had lots of rain this afternoon and at my FIL they had a mini tornado :omg. Though this weekend we are due to have sun and 28C - just as well as it is a three day weekend

I think we’ve been lucky so far to have the good weather, may not be able to do so much outdoors in the next few days.

Anyone have any ideas of things we can do indoors whilst it’s raining? I could housework but I would prefer to find a more interesting distraction 😃

Is it a bank holiday weekend there? It’s hard to tell when it’s a weekend now, let alone a bank holiday one. I do hope the mini tornado didn’t cause any damage. I do hope the weekend is sunny for you

Out of the next 5 weekends, 4 are long ones The joys of May! Not that it makes much difference as we are stuck at home for the first two! But at least no work this Friday!

How about planning and cooking some meals around the world? Something you wouldn’t normally cook? I love looking at recipe books!

I have actually considered doing this 😂 I was looking at tapas recipes today, but DH liked some ideas and DD liked others. But I guess with tapas they can try which ones they like and hopefully they won’t all want the same dishes. We were going to Athens in July and I really wanted to try gyros, so maybe I will try to recreate those at home instead

Great minds think alike! Sounds like a great plan! The simple pleasures are often the most enjoyable

I think we are all finding that now, making the most of simple pleasures like gardening, birdwatching and cooking. I draw the line at sewing though 😂

I can't sew but I love watching The Great British Sewing Bee on TV - Sophie and I were in stitches (see what I did there) watching it last week!

I need to make some cards, I've got a couple of birthdays coming up very soon and I've got loads of photos to scrapbook. I've also got a book on the go which I am determined to get to the end of

Card making sounds a fun hobby, Georgia scrap books our holiday photos and momentos. Are you writing a book? That’s brilliant, Georgia writes too. I wish I had the imagination to write.

I do like your sewing pun 😂
