I tried the 0800 number this afternoon - that’s now closed as well. Two of my emails have bounced back so I’ve tried the Directors@Tui.co.uk - we’ll see what happens.

The 0800 number was working at 14.23 today . Wonder when that was taken out. That’s drastically cutting down the options now.

You will get an automatic reply from email with 28 day turnaround

I sent an email last night asking about paying my balance. The automated response said they would contact me in 48 hours. I had a call back this afternoon. After everything I have heard I thought I would have real trouble getting a response. This is the email I used -
customercareteam@tui.co.uk
Hope it works for you too

Just to add I was told if I didn't pay my balance my holiday would be cancelled as I booked in January. I was offered the option of delaying the holiday with the 20% offer but declined. Balance due at the end of this month so looks like I will be paying and keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you will try this email tomorrow. I want to pay it but not reschedule, will hold out for refund when it get cancelled. What annoys me is the fact they said not to worry, wait for store reopening. If they updated their systems then we would have been able to pay online.

Our balance was due 10 April too. I held on for an hour to get through to them on 8 April to ask what to do and was told as I booked in store and the stores are closed, I needed to wait for them to contact me. I was assured that our holiday would not be cancelled. I have a note of date, time and person I spoke to so have just left it now. We fly on 3 July too (probably not) and our deposit is £1000. If they try to keep that due to me not paying the balance, they will have a fight on their hands! I am more worried now that they will contact me and want the £8000 balance!

Exactly how I feel. They did say not to worry etc , however now on their web page it says holidays will be cancelled. I fail to see why any penalties should occur as they have failed to email out any changes, as everything was previously done. They know who like us are overdue but cannot get them to take our money.

They could have recalled store staff, kept behind closed doors , but allow us to phone local branch. In my eyes this would have been a lot easier to get through or they outbound us.
I’ve now also done 2 emails to them and await their response

Tbh I think the chances of us getting away on 3 July is pretty slim and I really don't want to be handing over 8 grand so I am just sitting tight to see what happens.

Could you not claim on credit card? Write recorded delivery letter to TUI asking for refund, give 28 day deadline. If no answer after 28 days pursue via CC refund.

If emails aren't working resort to old fashioned recorded delivery.
