Unable to vote in polls

I tried to find an answer to this, but I'm unable to vote in any polls. They all have the message "You may not vote on this poll" at the bottom.

Any advice on how to rectify this?

I did consider that, but was unable to find anything in the help that suggested there were restrictions to users that haven't posted much...
