Mobile Tui holiday change

Hi all,

We have a two week holiday booked in Turkey this summer, the balance is due on Thursday. We’ve already paid around £2500.

We don’t think the holiday will be going ahead anyway but don’t really want to pay the remaining balance. Has anyone had any joy phoning Tui to make a change to a holiday booking?

It’s such a frustrating situation. I know they are saying not to make contact unless you’re due to leave soon but I don’t want to lose my deposit.

We are hoping to move our holiday to October 2021.

Yes,
My son changed his tenerife holiday 3 days before the due balance date to next year and now only has to pay balance 4 weeks prior to departure.

How do I change or cancel my TUI booking?

TUI allows both cancellations and changes. If you have booked your holiday on TUI’s website (not through another travel agency) you can go to Manage My Booking in your TUI account to make changes including: cancelling your holiday, changing your holiday, changing the names of the passengers, changing contact details and much more.

If you have booked through a travel agent you will need to ring travel agent

Thanks. Yes the issue is that we booked in store! So annoying as we don’t have internet access to our booking!

There’s now an option when you phone them, to select a shop booking
I’ve never managed to get through to them though

I’ve given up trying. Never get passed the first few rings before the message ** busy call later. My final balance was due April 10th!
I’ve emailed Tui Director’s expressing my frustration and their change of stance to cancel holidays when they have previously acknowledged the difficulties with store closures. It’s not that I won’t pay , it’s because I can’t get through.
Strange fact is I was reading on another site a lady had reply from that email , not to worry they won’t cancel ,even though she she said that advice contradicted their new statement

I have been trying the telephone number they give on Facebook constantly today and not been able to speak to a person. I’ve sent a message via Facebook. I’ve emailed. I don’t know what more I can do.

Balance is due today. I’m going to be so upset if we have lost the money!

It’s so so frustrating! Ideally I would have changed the booking however worse case I’d have paid the balance and held out to see what happens. I’m not at all happy to lose the £800 I paid for the deposit plus the extra money I’ve chipped away at the balance in store.

I’ve still tried today ringing the 4 numbers I have, result zero. Never get passed the first few rings , get the sorry we busy, call later , then cuts off.
Numbers tried are
0203 636 1931
0203 451 2688
0800 009 3836
0203 636 1997 ( which now say sorry this line is closed)

I’ve emailed Directors@Tui.co.uk and received an automated response that they will contact me within 28 days 😫.
Don’t know what else I can do. Bal was due 10th April and holiday 3rd July
