1. Yes I did find the celebrations uplifting. However very muted due to this Virus. So sad we as a Nation couldn't do more to show our recognition

2. Neither. Can't abide milk

However I did own a Vauxhall Viva in 1973 that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.

Yes it did. We had a lovely little family day in the garden. I know the lockdown and this whole situation is hard and I'm missing so many people, but spending quality time with the people who are the most important in my life has been lovely.
My husband has had quite a lot of time off work, usually he's away for months at a time instead and my son is at boarding school so having him home is amazing.

I love rice pudding! Skin or no skin, any will do haha

Didnt do anything or see anything regarding VE Day. No houses celebrating, didnt watch any TV and didnt actually know there was a minute silence until I put the radio on later and they announced it had been done.

Absolutely LOVE home made rice pudding with skin on - thats something I miss from my childhood.

No celebrations around here but I did watch the BBC from Buckingham Palace and thought they did a really good show considering.

Yes love rice pudding with or without the skin on. I can remember me and my brother and sister arguing about who got the most skin on theirs !

1. Yes. Had a lovely day in the garden. Spent a bit of time talking about my grandad who spent the war sailing around the Med clearing mines. He said they were some of the best years of his life 😄 Just reflects the resolve of that generation.

2. Absolutely no! Skin on rice pudding - boak 🤮

1. Yes. We had a lovely day, in the garden, sunshine, small BBQ and a few drinks! Listening to the music of that era.

2. No, just no!
