I don't like to fly at the weekends. We book connecting flights and there are more internal flights to gatwick during the week.
Either that or I made it up to persuade DH to add on an extra weekend in Florida before coming home, lol.

Ive just booked 22nd August (Mon) instead of the 20th/21st (Sat/Sun) as it's saved me over £1k by moving my holiday 2 days. It does mean the likely hood is my son will miss 2 days minimum at the start of term, but with those savings I don't think we could miss the opportunity and will deal with the school issue at the time. Hope you manage to get a great flight deal, I've worked our package out backwards from the Accommodation price direct with Disney and the flights work out at £530pp, direct from LGW/MCO with Virgin for August 2016... bargain in my opinion.
