Haha!
Ghirardelli's peppermint bark is heavenly but we are never over there near Xmas. Only got to try it on a November trip to NY one year.

We always accept the free samples offered at DS whatever time of year but will still buy a fair bit as well.

In US - love Ghirardelli's chocolate squares. They do contain some GM ingedients.
Hershey's is cheap and foul. In Uk Cadbury's has been ruined. Tend to buy Lindt or Thorntons. M&Ms in Leicester Square are now doing hazlenut and almond. Edited at 02:26 PM. |

I actually prefer Galaxy milk chocolate to Cadbury's now; that or Lindt. I rarely buy anything Cadbury's anymore. If I could find a genuine alternative to Bournville that has the taste but not the drier (slightly stale?) texture, I'd definitely (and defiantly! ) buy that.
It's a shame what Kraft have done to Cadbury's and it's about their bottom line, not our bottom lines!

Not big on American chocolate. I feel like some of it is just a knock off of our things.

I do love ghirardelli squares.
In the UK I must be the only one who still thinks cadbury is the same as it always was lol. I only noticed the difference in cream eggs but not regular dairy milk etc . Tried dairy milk tiffin for the first time at the weekend and its delicious.

I find Cadbury Twirls are quite close to the original Cadbury taste.

I find Cadburys here awful. I don't rate US choc either aside from Ghiradellis.
I like Dairy Milk Tiffin though that I get back at home. Prefer Galaxy choc by far and Montezuma is great too..their choc bar with orange oil is delicious. |
