If your not adverse to hound types... we have a loving noodle shadow horse called Tia (welll shes actually a greyhound collie cross) she’s built like a small hound, got a gorgeous round coat and eyes like the rspca poster dog! Has to shadow who Evers home (unles mums home then she always shadows mum) definitely an over sized lapdog, always looking for the best place to snooze!

Every day, I break down and on Monday I was so bad crying all day, I sat on the sofa at 9 am and never moved till 10 in the evening, crying and just heartbroken. He really was so wonderful and wanted to be so close the whole of his life.

Now we are not really talking about another dog yet. Myrtle is wonderful and so is Nala but they are really dogs, nothing wrong with that, but Doug was a little baby, he needed you for everything and loved to be as near as he possibly could.

Now, I love Bullies but am just wondering as selfish as I am I know... is there a breed out there that is so loving as he was.
I have days where I think of a staffy, or a Frenchie but just would like to know what breeds people have if they are very loving and want to be with you all the time. I desperately need that and have the love to give.

We do have two and it is still early days, but I do keep my ears open and will only rescue as I don't believe in breeding.

Any breeds you think could be suited to me. xx
Hi so sorry for your loss xx you may remember me loosing my molly Rescue Dalmatian just before you lost your lovely molly rescue.
We rescued another 8 year old Dalmatian so are now on our third of this lovely breed. They Have such a loving caring nature, quite humanised dogs they are big babies and love to be loved .they love to be part of your life and be part of whatever you are doing.some Dalmatians will smile at you as you return home melts my heart .but I would like to add that they anyone thinking of this breed As with any breed to do lots of research! I know of a good Dalmatian rescue who carefully matches dogs with owners xx there are so many needing homes sadly
They can be lazy but also energetic ! They don’t like to be left alone for hours and hours on end And they love being with their families .
They love nothing more than to be snuggled up on your knee

We have two sprockers (mum springer/dad working cocker) and they are the most loving affectionate dogs I’ve ever come across. Yes they love a good run but as long as they get their exercise they just want to be on your knee or lying next to you at home. They love to shadow you Wherever you go, I even get an escort when I take the rubbish out. Oh and of course they aren’t allowed on the bed ...

There is a rescue in Llanelli in Wales called Many Tears they have a lots of dogs that have been used for breeding, so many sad stories. Lots of their dogs need to be homed where there are already dogs living in the home you sound perfect

Oh, my ...❤️
Our children are continually asking for a second dog, and these pics have made me realise how I always gravitate to Dalmatians on walks.

We have golden retrievers and they are so affectionate. They love to be right next to you and follow me everywhere. Both are 13 now and are total babies.
