I haven’t with KLM but booked through them for travel via Amsterdam and the actual flight was delta. Delta were fine. Comparable to virgin but I can’t remember receiving any children’s packs. Good back seat TVs and constantly coming round with drinks. Are you sure it is KLM and not delta codeshare?

I'm pretty sure KLM don't fly to southern US on their "own tin". They do directs to NYC and Minneapolis but to everywhere else they (at least used to) either fly you to one of those and then put you on a code share for the second leg or put you on a codeshare from the UK anyway.
They may have changed but i doubt they'd have included a direct Orlando route as their codeshare partners already have loads of options for that one |

I have booked with KLM, but it was a codeshare operated by Virgin from LGW. What was amazing was that the PE fare was £250 less pp booking through KLM than direct with VA. That was for a flight earlier this year

Not to Orlando, but we fly with KLM more than any other airline. Most recently was to Altanta, our return from Miami was a code share with Delta.
Found both KLM and Delta to be better than their UK equivalents and would pick them without concern. Food is of a decent standard for airline meals and IFE is good. Can't comment on the children's colouring books as not had that need for a while. Would never rely on an airline providing entertainment like that though, would just be a bonus. We usually do indirect as KLM have 4 flights a day from our local airport to AMS. Would rather sit in a transfer lounge than have to have a 3 hour drive to one of the London airports, especially on the return. |
