Virgin Atlantic worse company ever
Are virgin Atlantic one of the worse companies currently trading
Still owed money from flights cancelled back in June If you try and chat via text you get no reply The bearded wonder should hold his head in shame. Whilst he continues to make job cuts he sits in paradise Detest the man I have over 80,000 air miles and a companion flight but not sure I would ever use them now |

So don’t fly with them again then!
Branson has pumped £200 million of his own cash into the airline to save it. Without that you wouldn’t get any money back at all as they would have gone bust. Covid has decimated the aviation industry. While Virgin have not covered themselves in glory with their conduct over the last few months, the fact is for them it was literally a battle for survival. What do you expect would happen when most people are not allowed to fly on them for 6 months? I for one am glad they survived. If they didn’t it would mean BA could do what they want with no competition. I wish the best for all staff at all airlines who have sadly been affected by this pandemic. |

I have been clocking prices for flights next Summer going out of LHR to MCO (and LGW for certain BA flights)
Virgin prices were ok in my view. BA prices for PE were circa £1K more. Mmm, that's why we need competition or we will all be held hostage by 1 carrier if we want direct flights.

I am indifferent to Virgin and flew with them for the first time in over two decades last year due to BA strikes.
However I have a professional respect for all of those working in that finance team. Because they have (hopefully) pulled off the greatest and most unlikely corporate survival ever. Yes customer service has taken a back seat. It needed to, or there would be no Virgin Atlantic today and then you definitely would not be ever getting your money back and we would all face prices without competition in the future. |
